We are currently looking for students interested in applying to the PhD program (3 funded positions) as well as postdoctoral scientists (2 funded positions) interested in the broader topics investigated by the group. We are also looking for great Rice undergraduates, particularly those with skills in geophysics, mechanical engineering, computer science, signal processing, or numerical techniques who are excited by earth science problems.

Please read over our front page to familiarize yourself with our areas of focus. Graduate projects will be linked to one of our current or future projects. We do not have any funded MS opportunities at this time.
All PhD students should also go through the Rice EEPS graduate application process . The deadline for Spring 2020 applications is October 21st, 2019 (11:59 pm CST), however applications will be accepted to October 30th, 2019. The deadline for Fall 2020 is January 10th, 2020. Although applications for Fall 2020 will be accepted as late as January 31, 2019, for optimal consideration, please honor the January 9th deadline.
