Biographical Info |
Thomas is a volcanologist who uses a combination of field studies and laboratory experiments to investigate the physical processes that operate during the transport and eruption of magma. As an independent Research Fellow at Rice University he investigates a wide range of volcanic phenomenon, including the generation of volcanic ash, the ascent of kimberlite and the fluid dynamics of subsurface magma flow. |
