Mr. Pan graduated from Yangtze University in 2016, with a bachelor’s degree in Resource (oil & gas ) Prospecting Engineering. By virtue of his extraordinary performance both in study and practice, he was enrolled in “Outstanding Engineers Class” in second semester. In the mean time, he got his first internship in Sinopec to be trained as petroleum geologist, which motivated him to further his study in geology. In the next two years, four field studies in south & north china made him proficient in geological skills and seismic exploration. Near graduation, an one year office-based research internship in sinopec and a four month research assisting work in Yangtze University enhanced his ability in analysis of favorable oil-gas distribution area and fine description of sandstone. Now, enrolled in Rice University’s Subsurface Geoscience Program, he will fully use this chance to enrich his knowledge in geology/geophyiscs.
