EEPS Virtual Homecoming

EEPS faculty Cin-Ty Lee and Julie Morgan, along with 10 alumni and student panelists joined together last Friday, October 30 for a live Homecoming celebration. They discussed the importance of geology in their lives and careers, from our planets initial evolution to the impact of  today’s climate change, their roles in energy research, geopolitics, and their efforts to help society cope with our changing landscape. They also talked about how geology has shaped their lives regardless of the different paths that brought them to the present. Finally, the panelists shared their personal experiences, the ups and downs that show case the human side of science.
