Biographical Info

My education this far has been deliberately eclectic - not only am I fascinated by a range of topics in earth science, a syncretic, multi-disciplinary approach seems most likely to bring the next set of big advances in geophysics.

My research right now focuses on bringing together a variety of types of data to reconstruct the past movement of the Earth's surface. I use paleomagnetic and stratigraphic data to answer questions about the past and present velocity and location of both tectonics plates and Earth's spin axis, and the complicated interplay between those factors.
