BA Biology, BA Geology, 1980. Southern Oregon State College.
Cum Laude, Outstanding Senior in Geology
Senior thesis: Age and extent of the Table Rocks lava flow.

PhD Geology, 1985. University of Texas at Austin
Chevron Fellowship
Dissertation: Structural, geochronologic, and depositional history of the western Klamath Mountains, California and Oregon: Implications for the early to middle Mesozoic tectonic evolution of the western North American Cordillera.

Research

My interests are in field and modeling-based approaches to structural and tectonic problems at all scales. I am especially interested in topics that require multi-disciplinary collaboration.
