Long drives out to Marescal in west Texas, passing through the Eagle Ford and great Mexican restaurants on Hwy 90, mapping the Morrison in New Mexico, rockhounding across California, climbing volcanoes in Oregon, snorkeling with Andre Droxler in Belize, traveling through Cuba and then Chile and then the Swiss Alps, joining the faculty on research expeditions to Papua New Guinea, Antarctica, and the middle of the Indian Ocean, struggling in the research laboratories, goofing off in Looney noons and rushing to finish your work before AGU.  We had so many great experiences and memories, and we built so many lifelong relationships.  We truly miss all of you!  Please come back to visit or drop us a line. We can also help you get back in touch with your old classmates!  Even if you’re not an alum, but are just interested in becoming part of our community, do drop by and we can show you around.

If you would like to help us continue providing our students with such valuable experiences in the field and in the laboratory, please consider making a donation.  We are always interested in new ideas of how to make our department better, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
